Light sculpture

The Sofitel Munich Bayerpost is located in the heart of Munich. The building was constructed in the Italian High Renaissance style and is now a heritage-protected building.

To create a very special ambience, we built a light sculpture based on the interior architect's designs, which extends over two floors and can change its colours. Free-standing and stable in itself, the light-flooded construction attracts everyone's attention. With the aim of creating a unique appearance, we decided on an individual construction method in consultation with the hotel. With a height of 11.2 metres and a width of 14 metres, various lighting ensembles can be staged, such as checkerboard patterns and dimmable lighting scenarios – all at the touch of a button. Exhibits can also be positioned in the steel frame. This means that the light installation can also be used as an exhibition medium.
