Our long-standing collaboration with the artist Tobias Rehberger began with this project in the foyer of Berlin's KaDeWe department store. This project was the first time we had the opportunity to realise such an elaborate wall and floor design with our own printing machine. The visually sophisticated realisation of the design concept included a central element (designed by Tobias Rehberger) presenting the company history of the Italian coffee brand Illy and its expresso cup series designed by renowned artists. To accompany this presentation, we decorated the KaDeWe window display to match Illy's brand image.
