Tokyo Curiosity

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the city partnership between Berlin and Tokyo, we had the pleasure of staging a photo exhibition by the photographers of Tokyo GA in the Rotes Rathaus.

The photographs on display depicted both everyday life situations, which were taken by the 100 photographers of the association in Tokyo and made available for the event, as well as famous images such as the David Bowie cover of the album ‘Heroes’.The photo was taken in Tokyo in 1977 by Masayoshi Sukita. The accompanying album was produced at Hansa Studios in Berlin in 1977.
